Here’s a behind-the-scenes video for Ghostbusters: Afterlife that offers a fascinating yet eerie look at how the creative studio MPC brought Harold Ramis’ character, Egon Spengler, back to life as a ghost for the film.
It’s kind of weird watching this because we are watching them bring the late Ramis back to life! And to make it even more unsettling, the video is set to spooky music.
It’s pretty awesome seeing what can be done these days with the filmmaking technology that we have. I thought it was incredibly cool that they managed to include Egon in the film with the blessing of Ramis’ family. It was a very heartfelt and emotional moment for a lot of fans.
