I’ve always enjoyed the commercials that come out of Japan, but this commercial series for Sakeru Gum is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. There are 11 short ads that tell a hilarious love story that ends in a fantastic unexpected twist.
The story follows a young woman named Chi-chan and her boyfriend Tooru-san, who are big fans of Sakeru Gummy, which is a line of “rippable” chewing gum that comes in both short and “long, long” versions. Tooru-san prefers the smaller, more traditional size of gum. But, Chi-chan begins to have a desire for the longer gum.
