Thai officials said the resumed ‘Test & Go’ entry scheme opened last week to strong demand. Over 60,000 tourists registered for their visits through the restarted quarantine-free scheme in just a few days.
The big source markets were Russia, Germany, France and the UK. TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn expects a fairly strong rebound. Yuthasak projects about-15 million visitors, which is still less than half of pre-pandemic 2019.
