Tainy Details New Album Data Featuring Bad Bunny, Arca, Four Tet, Skrillex, and More

Puerto Rican superproducer Tainy has detailed his long-awaited studio debut. The 20-track album, titled Data, features guest appearances from Bad Bunny, Arca, Four Tet, Skrillex, Arca, J Balvin, Sech, Daddy Yankee, and many others. The new record arrives June 29 via Neon16, and includes the 2022 single “Sci-Fi”—one of Tainy’s collaborations with Rauw Alejandro. In a new interview with Complex, Tainy revealed that Data “serves as a series of uploads that ultimately bring a cyborg named Sena to life.” The producer released the record’s lead single “Lo Siento BB:/” in the fall of 2021. That track features verses from Bad Bunny and Julieta Venegas, and was issued with a music video directed by Stillz. “Sci-Fi,” meanwhile, received an Elliott Muscat–directed visual.

More recently, Tainy has released the Data singles “Fantasma | AVC” [ft. JhayCo] and “Obstaculo” [ft. Myke Towers]. Outside of readying his album, Tainy worked with Shawn Mendes on his 2022 hit “Summer of Love,” and with J Balvin and Badshah on “Voodoo.”
