So roughly 7 months ago, Konami announced that Legendary Duelists: Season 3 for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG would release in June, but then it got delayed. Now, they’ve announced that the reprint set will launch on July 22. Legendary Duelists: Season 3 features cards from Legendary Duelists: Immortal Destiny and Legendary Duelists: Magical Hero like Bakura’s Curse Necrofear, Yuri’s Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Yugi’s The Dark Magician’s, and Aster’s Destiny HERO – Malicious, and more.
The set contains over 100 cards and brings the colored Ultra Rares back. Each box will contain 1 Secret Rare, 2 standard Ultra Rares, 2 red Ultra Rares, 2 blue Ultra Rares, 30 commons, and 1 collectible die with an MSRP of $15.99.
In addition, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG team will be hitting up Anime Expo and San Diego Comic-Con. You can visit them at either convention and demo the game, learn to play Speed Duel, make a personalized Token Card (very fun to do), purchase limited edition Game Mats, and more.
If that’s still not enough, the North America Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship will take place in Rosemont, Illinois from July 15-17 with public events running all weekend. The event will even feature an appearance by Matthew Labyorteaux and Oliver Wyman, the voice actors for Jaden Yuki and Aster Phoenix from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. These two will play a live Duel for fans to enjoy. If you can’t attend in person, you can catch the action on Twitch and YouTube.
