SAMURAI AND SHOGUN PART II — GeekTyrant

Adult Swim has released a wicked fun sequel to the fan-favorite Rick and Morty samurai anime created by Studio Deen. As part of the Adult Swim Festival, they released Samurai and Shogun Part II.

This story imagines Rick as a wandering samurai who is guarding one of the few remaining Morties in the multiverse. He is being hunted down by a clan of rival assassins who want to kill the boy. Of course, those assassins are other Ricks. In the sequel, witness the epic conclusion of Rick’s battle to save Morty.

The short was directed by Kaichi Sato and it features the voice talents of Rick and Morty’s Japanese dub stars Yohei Tadano as the various Ricks, Keisuke Chiba as Morty, and Akiha Matsui as Summer.

This sequel is a ton of fun, and it’s filled with plenty of ultra violence and blood spray. As you’ll see, things get pretty crazy and Rick and Morty’s journey in this story takes a wild twist. Enjoy!
