RZA Reveals New Album Release Date, Shares “Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater” Video: Watch

RZA has revealed the new release date for his album Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater, formerly titled RZA vs Bobby Digital. The album was made with producer DJ Scratch, and arrives March 4 (via 36 Chambers ALC/MNRK Music Group). Today, RZA has shared the new video for the title track. In a statement shared with Pitchfork, 36 Chambers product manager Justice Diggs explained:

The original concept and name of the forthcoming ‘Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater’ LP from RZA and DJ Scratch was ‘RZA vs Bobby Digital.’ While the album’s central theme remains a lyrical battle between the RZA and his alter-ego Bobby Digital, given the project unites two of NYC’s hip-hop icons for their first official collaboration, we felt the new title reflects the props DJ Scratch deserves as producer of the record.

Last year, RZA also announced an album called Bobby Digital: Digital Potions.
