A couple new set photos have been captured behind the scenes of Marvel’s upcoming series Echo, which will follow Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), who must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.
The character first appeared in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, in Cox’s acting debut, and she returns to her own series to face off against the villainous Kingpin, played by returning star Vincent D’Onofrio, who was recently seen in costume on the show’s set.
The series is shooting now in Atlanta, and Echo is set to begin streaming on Disney+ in 2023. Check out the pictures below, and let us know if you’re getting excited for this series.
