Marvel has released a new poster for the Disney+ series Loki, and it features Sophia Di Martino as Lady Loki. This Loki Variant made her big debut in episode 2, which was titled “The Variant.” She is hellbent on causing chaos in the sacred timeline, and by the end of episode 2, that’s exactly what she did. She managed to escape the TVA with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki following her.
This female version of Loki has been identified as Sylvie Laufeydottir, according to a closer look at the TVA documents that were studied by Loki in Episode 2. This has got a lot of fans speculating that this variant could be a version of the Marvel comics character Sylvie Lushton, who is Enchantress in the comics.
Series writer Michael Waldron talked to TV Line about Martino’s character, who is purposefully not referred to as Lady Loki in the series. He explained:
“I don’t want to say too much about that character except that we want to keep building the thrill ride, and that felt like the right time to blow another big batch of dynamite and reshuffle the deck of the show and we’ll see what happens next.”
It’s going to be interesting to see how the character’s story arc plays out over the course of the series. What are you expecting from her in the series?
