Leslie Odom Jr. Has Joined the Star-Studded Cast of Rian Johnson’s KNIVES OUT 2 — GeekTyrant

Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton, One Night in Miami) has joined the cast of director Rian Johnson’s anticipated sequel Knives Out 2. He joins the already impressive cast that includes franchise newcomers Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, and Edward Norton, as well as returning star Daniel Craig.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the follow-up is due to shoot this summer in Greece and will be another big-name ensemble murder mystery anchored by Craig’s enigmatic Southern detective Benoit Blanc.

Netflix bought the rights to the franchise from MRC and Lionsgate after the success of the first film, and Johnson, who earned a 2020 Oscar nomination for the Knives Out screenplay, told THR he began work on the script shortly after the first film was released.

This is shaping up to be another incredible cast and fun story for movie-watching fans to enjoy.
