Explaining his decision to take Lauren’s last name, Dalton wrote on Instagram: ‘You can still call me Dalton, Dalt, Dolphin, whatever you like… I’m still the same me and always will be.

‘I’m just going to sign off one chapter and start another with my beautiful, driven and inspirational wife by my side as Mr Henshaw.’

While Dalton’s decision to break with tradition seems to be his way of expressing love and respect for his wife, he also hinted he didn’t like his surname Graham.

‘P.S. mildly excited to break the shackles of two first names #TheHenshaws,’ he said.
