Konami Announces First In-Person YCS in Almost 2 Years — GeekTyrant

The last Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event held in-person was back in February 2020. Konami has announced that we are going back to in-person events though with the first YCS in almost 2 years taking place January 15-16 in Pasadena, California.

Duelists will be able to participate in two days of fun events at the Pasadena Convention Center with prizes including special cards, gaming systems, and the ultimate winner will get a YCS trophy and an Ultra Rare Duel Link Dragon, the Duel Dragon.

The event will feature a Token Card booth, Win-A-Mat tournaments, Attack of the Giant Card, and much more. You can register for the event now and all that pre-register will get a special Game Mat and promotional card.

Keep in mind that only 2,000 duelists can participate and if you are 12 years old or older you must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those under 12 or anyone who can provide proof of medical exemption must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.

May the best duelist win and may you all enjoy in-person YCS events again.
