Godzilla and Kong F*ck Shit Up in Trailer for The New Empire

Warner Bros. has revealed the first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Directed by Adam Wingard, the film serves as the sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong. It comes to theaters and IMAX on April 12th, 2024.

The former foes join forces to take on “a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own.” This time, Godzilla and Kong have some new tools in their arsenals with atomic pink fire breath and a metallic arm, respectively. Most incredibly, the trailer culminates with a scene of the two monsters running side by side. Watch it below.

Godzilla vs. Kong is the fifth film in Warner Bros.’s MonsterVerse and seven installment overall. It also marks the 38th Godzilla film to date and follows Takashi Yamazaki’s newly release Japanese-language Godzilla Minus One.
