Garcelle Beauvais revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 in a candid video shared to Instagram on Monday morning.
The 55-year-old actress appeared to be in good spirits despite the challenging time as she discussed her diagnosis with her followers in a short clip.
‘Hey guys, Happy Monday. Well, I hope it’s a good Monday for you. I found out that I tested positive for Covid,’ she said in the video. ‘I feel OK, I’m sure I will continue to feel OK.

‘My boys are being tested; so far they have tested negative and we’re going to continue testing them. Send movie or TV recommendations because I will be quarantining for the next few days, well not few — probably 10.
She added: ‘This stuff is crazy. Be careful out there. Be safe. Who knows, I may show up on Girl Chat via Zoom on The Real. I’m gonna miss the girls. Alright, take care you guys. Be safe.’
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admitted she was fully vaccinated in the caption of her video.

The vaccines primary objective is to help the body recognize and fight the coronavirus, and minimize symptoms if contagious.
More than 1,400 new COVID cases were reported in Los Angeles County on Dec. 12, according to the LA Public Health data.
It’s unclear if Garcelle had been exposed to any of her RHOBH co-stars, but the ladies have been filming season 12 of the show since November.
COVID-19 shutdown production last season when Kyle Richards, her sister Kathy Hilton and Dorit Kemsley all tested positive for the viral disease.
