Disney has offered a sneak peak at the Lightsaber training experience at the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience at Walt Disney World Resort. They also show off the experience that is set on the bridge of the Halcyon starcruiser.
The Lightsaber experience allows fans to train with a lightsaber by trying to block lasers being shot at them. The experience on the bridge of the starcruiser gives fans the opportunity to fight off a bunch of TIE Fighters attacking the ship.
The person in the video experiencing this things is Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, opens March 1, 2022, at Walt Disney World Resort.
I’ve gotta say, I’m not really that impressed with anything that I’m seeing in this video. Not sure if I’d want to drop the ridiculous amounts of cash Disney is asking for to do this stuff. These two experiences aren’t selling me on it.
