Cobie Smulders is set to reprise her role as Maria Hill in the MCU in Marvel’s Marvel’s Secret Invasion series, and she will once again star alongside Samuel L. Jackson, who will be back as Nick Fury.
Smulders also joins the previously cast Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Christopher McDonald, and Killian Scott.
The Secret Invasion series “centers on Fury and Talos — who first met during the events of Captain Marvel — and a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Details about the Hill’s role in the series are being kept under wraps, but it makes sense that she would appear in the series, and I imagine it will be a decent sized role.
Smulders has reprised the role in several Marvel projects including Spider-Man: Far From Home, Captain America: Civil War and every Avengers movie.
