Chris Noth supports wife Tara Wilson’s new project – amid reports she kicked out digraced actor

Chris Noth has publicly shown support for his wife, Tara Wilson, ahead of the launch for her new play, as the couple continue to move from the actor’s sexual misconduct allegations.

The 67-year-old star was hit with allegations of sexual assault from two women in December 2021, which he has furiously denied. Noth did however admit to having ‘consensual encounters’ with the women, both of which reportedly took place while he was in a relationship with Wilson.

In the aftermath of the scandal, Noth’s wife, 39, was pictured on multiple occasion without her wedding ring as Page Six reported that the couple’s relationship was ‘hanging by a thread’.

However, Noth took to Instagram on Tuesday to show his love and support for his spouse by praise her play titled B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching.

The Cast Away actor posed for a photo with the couple’s 14-year-old son Orion alongside a poster for the project at Berkshire Theatre Group’s Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, Mass.

He captioned the snap: ‘Orion and I are so proud of Tara’s new play opening this Saturday in Stockbridge at @berkshiretheatregroup! Closes July 9th- come see this beautiful production!!! #berkshiretheatregroup’

Noth also shared a post about the play from the official Berkshire Theatre Group account on his Instagram Story.

‘The family is over the moon w/ Tara’s premiere of her new play at @berkshiretheatregroup,’ he gushed.

The play follows ‘a woman representing a black teenager accused of murder is forced to face truths about marriage, race and the choices she has made and the unspoken lies she told herself to conform.’

The former The Equalizer actor has only been pictured with his wife a handful of times since the sexual assault allegations came to light.

The actor, who also shares two-year-old son, Keats, with Tara, was seen wearing his wedding ring while she opted to go without hers.

The Hollywood star’s latest social media activity comes as the Lovelace actor continues to keep a low profile following sexual allegations claims which saw him cut out of the Sex and the City reboot.

Noth played John James Preston – also known as Mr. Big – on the original Sex and the City show, which ran from 1998 to 2004, and in both movies, in 2008 and 2010.

Saddened: Executive producers-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis said in a statement on December 20: 'We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. His character died from a heart attack in the first episode of the reboot, which debuted in December last year.

In October, he was seen shooting with Sarah Jessica Parker – who plays his wife Carrie – in Paris.

The shots were set to be throwback scenes, however they were not used in the finale of the show.

There was also no mention of him on the documentary which followed the making of the revival’s first season.

In an interview with Variety director and executive producer Michael Patrick King confirmed that Big was set to appear in a scene in the season finale.

However, due to the scandal, they decided to keep the focus on the three main characters – Carrie, Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) – instead.

‘I wanted the show to be focused on the stories of these amazing actresses and their efforts in these last 10 episodes. And I didn’t want the entire story to be about whether someone was or wasn’t in the show,’ King said.

Noth was also fired from The Equalizer, with his character William Bishop killed off in the CBS series.
