CHER Biopic Being Developed by MAMMA MIA Producers at Universal — GeekTyrant

A new biopic is being developed at Universal that will follow the music, life, and acting career of Cher. The Grammy Award-winning singer and Oscar and Emmy Award-winning actress has starred in memorable variety shows, as well as beloved movies like Moonstruck, Silkwood, Mask, Mermaids, and more. She will be reuniting with the producers of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again producers Judy Craymer and Playtone’s Gary Goetzman.

Oscar-winner Eric Roth, known for writing Forrest Gump, The Insider, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and A Star is Born is writing the script. Cher Tweeted the news, which you can check out below. Producer Judy Craymer said in a statement:
