Chad Michael Murray and wife Sarah Roemer welcome baby girl with HEART-SHAPED birthmark on her ankle: ‘We are so in love!’

Chad Michael Murray became a father-of-three last week when his wife Sarah Roemer gave birth to a baby girl.

Sarah, whom Chad has been married to since 2015, ecstatically broke the news on her Instagram page this weekend.

Her announcement was accompanied by a heart-melting photo that showed their bouncing new baby’s heart-shaped birthmark.

‘Our baby girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We are so in love!’ she gushed. ‘Soaking up all the baby squishy moments that go by all too fast.’  

Meanwhile Chad, 41, posted the same photo to his own Insta Stories with the short and sweet message: ‘Heart full #family’.

Chad and Sarah first became acquainted with one another when they co-starred on the thriller series Chosen, which began in 2013 on the streamer Crackle.

They secretly tied the knot in September 2014, waiting until the following January to simultaneously announce the wedding and Sarah’s pregnancy with their first child.

The couple welcomed a son in 2015 and a daughter in 2017, and have been fiercely protective of their children’s privacy to the point of not revealing their names.

Sarah and Chad went public with her latest pregnancy only last month, and shortly thereafter he subtly let slip that they were expecting a little girl.

‘We travel this world as a little wolf pack – this baby’s been everywhere already and she’s not even on the outside yet,’ he wrote in an Instagram caption, letting readers pick up on the female pronoun themselves.

Before his relationship with Sarah, Chad was briefly married to Sophia Bush, whom he shot to fame with on the teen drama One Tree Hill.

Sophia and Chad made their way down the aisle in April 2005 but had separated by that September, ultimately finalizing the divorce the following year.

A few years ago, back when he had just one child, Chad touchingly reflected on the way becoming a father had changed his outlook.

‘Having a family just changes your perspective on everything. I mean, it’s a world changer,’ he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. ‘For me, it was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.’

He added: ‘Having kids is a game changer and I think you’re always walking around with the mentality that you want to make sure that they’re proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader.’

Chad noted that his decisions about acting jobs had become colored by the fact that his child would eventually be able to watch him at work.

‘Just last week a project came up, and just due to the content alone, it wasn’t something that I [want] my son to see when he grows up,’ he said. ‘It’s not the type of material and I didn’t feel like the payoff was worth it.’
