People started making A Bug’s Life jokes pretty much instantly upon Cattle Decapitation revealing the cover for their new album Terrasite. For those unaware, A Bug’s Life featured a grasshopper character named Hopper that looks like a less-terrifying version of the humanoid thing on the cover of Terrasite. See above for reference.
Instead of fighting against the joke, Cattle Decapitation is now leaning into it with a new pre-order for Terrasite called “A Bud’s Life.” A Bud’s Life features a metal grinder with all-over print, a tin tray with full-color print, and 50 rolling papers in custom printed package. Pre-order it here. Whether you get high listening to the new Cattle Decapitation record or watching Pixar movies from the ’90s is up to you.
Cattle Decapitation will hit the road this May with Dark Funeral,, death metal up-and-comers 200 Stab Wounds, and instant black metal legend Blackbraid. You can also stream A Bug’s Life on whatever streaming service, probably. Maybe it’s a Dark Side Of The Moon/Wizard Of Oz scenario and they match up?
