Bing Crosby’s former mansion located in sunny Rancho Mirage, California is hitting the market for a whopping $4.5 million in a listing by David Emerson and Alexandra Trejo of Compass.
Nestled in the exclusive neighborhood of Thunderbird Heights, the 6,700-square-foot estate famously features a ‘JFK Wing’ that was allegedly frequented by late president John F. Kennedy and late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe.
Crosby, who is considered one of the greatest entertainers of all time, built the single-story abode back in the 1950s, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The current owner Robert Teller has attempted to sell off the property a number of times over the years. He first listed the property in 2010 for $3.495 million.
The 83-year-old entrepreneur told to the WSJ that he’s yet to receive an offer that he believes ‘represents its value.’
The sprawling property sits on 1.36 acres of lush land and boasts a Midcentury Modern aesthetic, which has become increasingly sought after over the years.

According to Crosby’s biographer the married President and Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe stayed at his 70375 Calico Road home at the same time, during which they began their affair.
The estate has previously been used as a resort, with rental rates climbing to $2,000 to $3,000 a night, depending on the time of the year.
A Toluca Lake home that had also been owned by Crosby was listed at $10million in 2020, but the figure has since been dropped by almost half, to $5,995,000.
Hollywood stars Andy Griffith and Jerry Van Dyke are listed as previous owners of the Toluca Lake house, occupied by Crosby until 1943 when it was gutted by a Christmas Tree fire.
