During the recent Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest, it was teased that a big announcement was on the way for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. It was revealed this week by IGN that next month, Ryu and Chun-Li from Street Fighter would be joining the game as the Crimson Hawk Ranger and Blue Phoenix Ranger respectively. These characters were first introduced in a short film by Bat In The Sun in partnership with Lionsgate, Capcom, and nWay before being added to the Power Rangers: Legacy Wars mobile game.
The fighters will be available via a Street Fighter DLC Pack launching on May 25 for $12.95. The pack will include both fighters and unrevealed exclusive skins. You can also purchase each fighter separately for $5.99 each. I’m excited for these fighters to be added. In addition, a new Super Edition of the Battle for the Grid will be available for $49.99 which will include the base game, all three Season Passes, the new DLC Pack, and 4 bonus skins. Upgrade kits will be available as well in case you already own the game. You can check out the Crimson Hawk Ranger in the trailer below with a small tease for the Blue Phoenix Ranger at the end. You can play Battle for the Grid via Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
