Ashton Kutcher is set to star opposite Reese Witherspoon in a new Netflix rom–com film project titled Your Place or Mine. The story follows “two best friends who live on opposite coasts swap homes for a week and see their whole lives change.”
The script from the film comes from Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and she will also be directing the film. In fact, this will mark her feature film directorial debut.
Jason Bateman and his Aggregate Films is a producer on the film and it’s a co-production with Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine.
Ashton Kutcher recently ended his run on the Netflix series The Ranch last year. I actually enjoyed that show, and it’s good to see him jump back in and start working on new projects again. Two other projects he recently wrapped up include The Long Home and Vengeance.
