Partie is a matchmaking and communications platform to help gamers squad up and talk about their favorite games. Recently, the platform announced that it now features video and voice integration thanks to the Video SDK from Zoom. This should take your Parties to the next level with “best-in-class video and voice features” to further elevate the user’s gameplay experience. Instead of mostly being a message board experience with text chat, members can now talk in real-time. Oh, and did I mention that there’s no subscription for this new feature? It’s available to all members for free. Talking about the integration of Zoom, Frankie Colamarino of Partie said:
Partie strives to deliver a holistic, yet independent matchmaking and communications solution that meets the standards of gamers worldwide and gives them robust and reliable tools to connect and achieve their in-game goals together. Zoom offers an industry-leading video communications platform, and we are excited to leverage this expertise and team up with Zoom in the gaming space.
Brendan Ittelson of Zoom said:
We are excited that Partie chose to use our Video SDK to build a fully customized video experience for gamers. Partie can now lean on the performance, scale, and reliability of Zoom’s industry-leading video communications platform as the foundation for the seamless and interactive gaming experience they seek to offer their members.
Have you used Partie? Are you excited for the change?
