Xenia Rubinos: Una Rosa [Anti-]

Una Rosa is the third album from Xenia Rubinos, following 2016’s Black Terry Cat. She drew deeply from electronic arrangements and Cuban rumbas for the new record. The album’s cover was inspired by a fiber optic lamp owned by her great-grandmother, which played a melody by a Puerto Rican danza composer and formed the basis of Una Rosa’s title track. She released a handful of songs from the record ahead of its arrival, including “Working All the Time,” “Cógelo Suave,” “Did My Best” and “Who Shot Ya?

Remi Wolf: Juno [Island]

Juno is Los Angeles pop artist Remi Wolf’s debut full-length, following last summer’s I’m Allergic to Dogs! EP. The album is named after the dog she adopted during the pandemic, whom she calls her “partner, witness, and support in the making of this record.” Wolf has shared several tracks from the record with colorful, surreal videos, including “Guerilla,” “Front Tooth,” “Sexy Villain,” and “Anthony Keidis.”
