I’ve got a couple of videos here for you to watch that bring 1930s New York City to life in a way you’ve never seen before. The videos have been remastered in color giving us a taste of what old New York actually looked like. The first video starts around 51st street and rides along 5th avenue for the rest, right next to Central Park. The second one was shot on a boat and shows the New York shoreline.

I love seeing videos like this. Most videos from this era are in black and white and all grainy, so seeing the footage in vibrant and clear color, is pretty darn cool.
