Modder Creates The Smallest Portable N64
Video game hardware modders are nuts! Gunnar over at GmanModz recently shared his latest project which was to create the world’s smallest portable Nintendo 64. While there are a number of handhelds that play N64 games, this one stands out for using an actual N64 motherboard. The screen measures in at 3.5” 320×240 and the battery can power it for 1.5 hours. The portable console does use your game cartridges, so don’t worry about less than authentic gameplay.

Of course, if that’s not good enough for you, Gunnar also has the N64 SP which he claims is much better. Its batter lasts for around 2 hours, has actual C-buttons, and folds like the greatest handhold ever for nice portability.
