Labyrinth will be celebrating its 35th anniversary by returning to theaters September 12-15 through Fathom Events. These special event screenings will include a featurette before the movie with behind the scenes footage, the Henson Family, and others talking about the creative process behind Labyrinth.
Labyrinth is about Sarah (Jennifer Connelly), a teenage girl who foolishly wishes the goblin king (David Bowie) would take her baby brother away so she wouldn’t have to take care of him anymore. When the king shows up and does just that, Sarah must navigate her way through the treacherous labyrinth to save her brother.
This movie is a whole lot of fun. It was a staple of my childhood so it’s fun to have the chance to see it on the big screen again. You can check if a theater near you is screening it and get tickets here.
