Lucasfilm Casts Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren in AHSOKA Series — GeekTyrant

Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Voyeurs, Guns Akimbo) is set to play the live action version of Sabine Wren in Lucasfilm’s upcoming Star Wars series, Ahsoka.

The actress joins Rosario Dawson, who is se to reprise her role as Ahsoka Tano. Liu Bordizzo seems like a good actress and it looks like she’s have no problem slipping into the role of this fan-favorite Star Wars character.

Sabine was introduced in the animated series Star Wars Rebels and she’s “a young Mandalorian and a weapons expert, particularly when it comes to explosives. She is also known for her love of graffiti and is a dropout of the Imperial Academy of Mandalore.”

After the fall of the Empire, Wren and Tano teamed up to embark on a mission to find their missing friend, Ezra Bridger. It was revealed in The Mandalorian that Ahsoka was on the hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn because they are looking for Ezra. It’s also been reported that Thrawn and Ezra will sahow up in the series and that they will be played by Lars Mikkelsen and Mena Massoud.
