Dexter star Jennifer Carpenter is set to star in and executive-produce an interesting new thriller series titled Ballistic for New Regency and QCode.
The story centers on a secret operative (Carpenter) who, “after a mission is compromised, is forced into a psychological game of cat and mouse with her own mind while being hunted down by the very program that created her.”
That sounds like something I’d enjoy! It’s a cool concept to play with and it’ll be interesting to see how well that concept ends up being executed. Lihi Kornowski (Losing Alice) and Jonathan Ohye (Bosch) will also star in the series.
The six-episode series was created by Spenser Cohen (Moonfall) and Anna Halberg (Distant) and they will serve as showrunners and executive producers. Jeremy Rush (Wheelman) will direct and executive produce the show.
