So what is it that sent Marvel fans into a frenzy over D’Onofrio and his possible return to Kingpin?
Well, not long after the trailer for Hawkeye dropped, D’Onofrio sent out a tweet about a three-legged dog and MCU fans tied that to Hawkeye’s Lucky the Pizza Dog, which is ridiculous. D’Onofrio also liked a tweet saying “The King returns in Hawkeye,” “Timing. Confirmed,” and “Can’t wait to see you King.”
But, liking a Tweet means nothing. Anyway, of course, it would be amazing to see D’Onofrio back as Kingpin, but as of right now there are no plans for him to return to the MCU.
