A crazy new trailer has been released for the horror flick False Positive that is headed to Hulu. The movie stars Ilana Glazer and Justin Theroux as a married couple who are looking to get pregnant.
After having difficulty conceiving, they see a big shot fertility doctor (Pierce Brosnan), and are finally pregnant. But as Lucy (Glazer) settles into what is supposed to be the happiest time of her life, she is instead feeling like something sinister is at play, and she has to get to the bottom of it.
After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren’t complicated enough…
This looks like a solid horror movie for those who are down with the genre. False Positive is set to premiere on June 18 at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, followed by its Hulu streaming debut on Friday, June 25. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
