Eminem is coming back to Marvel Comics for an Amazing Spider-Man variant cover that features the talented rapper facing off with Spider-Man in a rap battle. In fact, the art is an homage to the rap battle scene of Eminem’s 2002 film 8 Mile.
Eminem shared on Twitter: “HONORED to be on the official variant of The Amazing Spider-Man (2022).” It was also announced that the variant will go on sale on November 22nd through Eminem’s website.
While the variant art is new, the cover is for Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Legacy #895) which was released back in April. It was illustrated by Salvador Larroca and Edgar Delgado.
This isn’t the first time that Eminem has appeared in a Marvel comic, back in 2009 he teamed up with Frank Castle in Eminem/Punisher #1, and together they take on terrorists who interrupt one of his concerts.
