‘Magic in San Miguel:’ Lily Collins enjoys a Mexican getaway with her husband Charlie McDowell

Emily In Paris star Lily Collins took to Instagram on Sunday to share snaps from her romantic Mexico getaway with husband Charlie McDowell.

The Los Angeles native, who began performing on screen when she was two years old in the BBC sitcom Growing Pains, captioned the post ‘Magic in San Miguel….’

In the first image, the 33-year-old British-born actress sat outside a red stucco building with arched columns on a colorful outdoor sunbed.

Keeping her makeup simple, the star added a blush color across her lips.

Going strong: The couple just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 4

A few weeks ago, the couple looked charming as they posed on the red carpet for the Ralph Lauren runway show in California. 

The couple, who started dating in 2019, just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 4.

The lovebirds went Instagram official in 2019 before tying the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in Colorado in 2021.

Recently the pair put on a loved-up display in Paris as they went on a romantic scooter ride around the French capital.

Collins initially traveled back to Europe in late May to begin work on season three of her hit show Emily In Paris.

The comedy-drama, in which Collins plays an American who moves to France to provide an American point of view to the French marketing firm Savoir, premiered in October 2020.

This past January, the show got renewed for a third and fourth season by Netflix.

The couple initially met while working on the set of Gilded Rage.

During an interview with Vogue Australia late last year, Collins raved about getting to work with her spouse, which she said was easier than expected. 

‘I thought it would be harder, I have to say. I thought it would be more stressful to have to work with him, but it honestly was really amazing and freeing,’ she told the outlet.
