Thirteen Lives is a new film by director Ron Howard about the real heroic rescue of thirteen Thai soccer team mates and their coach who became trapped in the Tham Luang cave during an unexpected rainstorm. The global effort to save them was made up of more than 10,000 volunteers and captured our interest globally.
Amazon Prime has shared a new clip of the movie along with a featurette of Ron Howard giving his dream audience a special look at the film.
The movie stars Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, and Joel Edgerton as three members of the team of British and Australian divers who managed to recover all twelve children and their soccer coach.
In the true story of Thirteen Lives, “twelve boys and the coach of a Thai soccer team explore the Tham Luang cave when an unexpected rainstorm traps them in a chamber inside the mountain. Entombed behind a maze of flooded cave tunnels, they face impossible odds. A team of world-class divers navigate through miles of dangerous cave networks to discover that finding the boys is only the beginning.”
The featurette is worth watching and definitely made me want to watch the whole film. You find the film streaming now on Prime video.
