Berry Oat Tahini Bars

Description
These completely plant-based, healthy kid (and adult) friendly bars are very low in added sugars, plus they are packed with whole grains, seeds, and fruits.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Place berry applesauce, tahini, maple syrup, vanilla, flour, oats, flax seeds, baking powder, and salt in the container of a food processor or high-powered blender. Process until smooth—about 2-3 minutes.
- Spray a 9 X 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour batter into pan and spread it evenly in the pan.
- Place fruit spread/jelly in a small dish and mix in water until smooth. Spoon over batter evenly and place pan in the center of the oven.
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes, until fork inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes. Slice into 9 bars.

To make this recipe gluten-free use a gluten-free flour.
