Celebrities and their families have pulled out all the stops for World Book Day.
While the day is traditionally celebrated by children at school, Amanda Holden couldn’t resist a chance to dress up, enlisting her Heart FM Breakfast co-stars Ashley Roberts and Jamie Theakston to transform into The Three Musketeers.
Kate Ferdinand also got into the spirit, donning orange face paint for her oompa loompa costume as she celerbated with her son Cree, 15 months.

Amanda, Ashley and Jamie dressed up as the characters from the famous adventure novel by Alexandre Dumas and invited Heart Breakfast listeners to share details of how they are celebrating the joy of reading today on World Book Day.
Amanda and Ashley matched in blue velvet and lace dresses, adding black leather boots to their leggy looks. Brandishing swords, the two blondes posed up a storm with a suave Jamie in the Heart FM studio before going on air.
Ashley shared one of her regular catwalk style walks down the studio corridor, sashaying in her costume with the caption ‘did someone say it’s World Book Day Henny?’
Amanda also shared a snap of her youngest daughter Hollie, 12, getting into the spirit of the day, as she struck a pose while dressed as a pirate.

The former TOWEI star dressed as an oompa loompa from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, sporting a green wig and covering herself in orange body and face paint.
The star shared a sweet photo with her 15-month-old son Cree, who was dressed as aa mini Woody from Toy Story as the two walked hand in hand outside their home. ‘You’ve got a friend in me,’ the doting mum captioned the photo.
Fellow footballer’s wife Amie Coady, who is married to England star Conor Coady, shared a cute photo of the couple’s three sons Henri, Freddie and Louie looking amazing as Willy Wonka, Harry Potter and Spider Man.

‘My heart just smiled. This morning I have a very happy ‘Jessie’ from toy story, a beautiful ‘Snow white’ and fabulous ‘Super Mario’ for #WorldBookDay,’ Christine gushed.
‘I remember when my children would never dress up because the costumes where too itchy, (I still have to put soft layers underneath) but they wouldn’t even touch the fabric!
And just seeing other children wearing costumes would totally confuse and upset them. Now they understand, we prepare and they enjoy World book day.’
