Popular 16 year told New York drill rapper CHII WVTTZ was shot and killed last night, MTO News has learned.
According to a recent post by someone who describes herself as CHII WVTTZ’s “best friend,” the young rapper has died.
“I never thought I’d be writing RIP next to your name no time soon”, writes the user on Instagram. “I love you always and forever.”
The post has since been flooded with love heart emojis, words of tribute and condolence, and expressions of consolation, shock and sadness.
His first YouTube upload is only a year old – the video for his track Sanctioned has been viewed almost 10,000 times. Meanwhile, his most recent upload was just five days ago.

One of CHII WVTTZ’s videos has garnered a quarter of a million views on the platform; the rapper had 18K followers on Instagram and also used Soundcloud. His most recent upload on the latter was just two days ago.
According to Genius, his stage name is pronounced “C-Hi Witts”.
His Instagram bio appears to contain references to the Grape Street Watts Crips, a street gang in southeast Los Angeles, and the Dust Town Hoggs. DTH is one of the “clicks” that makes up the Grapes neighborhood.
