Popular rapper Famous Dex has been battling drug addiction for years. Last year, MTO News reported that the rapper checked himself into drug rehab after several concerning images went public over the weekend, causing fans and critics to express their concern online.
While it was never officially confirmed what substance or addiction Dex, real name is Dexter Gore Jr., was being treated for the online speculation is that he has been struggling with codeine/pill addiction for a good portion of his career.
And now it appear that the stint in remand didn’t help. MTO News obtained a new video, shot this week, of the rapper looking strung out.
In the video Famous Dex talks to his chains, while kissing the gold jewelry. His words are slurred and he is clearly high off something.

Hopefully the young man can get some help. Last year, NLE Choppa begged Dex’s label to get him some help, to which Dex replied, “He cares, at least somebody cares. He didn’t say nothing wrong, at least somebody cares. I just wanted to say I really appreciated the love and support, but the world on drugs and I look mighty dam fine.”
