The year 2022 has already been a great year for talk show host Jeannie Mai and her husband, hip hop superstar Jeezy.
MTO News spoke with multiple people in the know who tell us that Jeannie Mai gave birth last night. And that she and Jeezy have a beautiful new baby together, CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM.
Jeannie and Jeezy plan to reveal the name and the gender of their new baby – once they recover from the delivery, MTO News has learned.
The Real co-host Jeannie Mai announced back in March, at age 42, that she and her husband Jeezy were expecting their first child together.

Jeannie told Women’s Health that she never wanted children her entire life, however, falling in love with Jeezy made her see things differently.
She described their love as “honest, pure, and safe…something (she) hadn’t felt as a child.”
Jeannie and Jeezy’s pregnancy journey was a long hard road. As MTO News reported, in February 2021, a month before the couple’s wedding, Jeannie discovered she was pregnant. Unfortunately, she miscarried soon after.
Filled with grief, Jeannie thought she was being punished for believing motherhood was not her calling up until last year.
To her surprise, a week after the couple’s wedding in March at their Atlanta home, Jamie discovered she was pregnant again while at a doctor’s appointment for her IVF treatments.
And Jeannie and Jeezy enjoyed the pregnancy. They continued to do social media posts together, and they even filmed their amazing baby shower last month.
