Here we are, yet again, in the wake of another Morbius delay. It’s getting a little comical at this point, even more so when you think of what has been accomplished in the time it’s taken to get the movie off the ground.
A recent Tweet from ComicBook writer Adam Barnhardt pointed out that we got our first Morbius teaser on January 13, 2020. Eight months later, Spider-Man: No Way Home began filming, then was released just over a year later, on December 17, 2021.
Morbius just got another pushback, and will now be released on April 1, 2022. I try really hard to reserve judgment on films before I see the finished product, and I am still excited to see Morbius, however, I have a feeling it’s not going to be anything compared to No Way Home.
What do you think? Does Morbius have any hope?
